APX:
The majority of the region will see only an inch or less after 00Z Sunday when cold
air intrudes into the system and turns liquid precip to snow, but a
strong band of frontogenesis oriented north to south could
potentially deliver higher accumulations of 3-5" across a localized
region between I-75 and the Huron shoreline. More details will come
as high rez guidance along with global ensembles depict where this f-gen
will fall, but chances of a few counties receiving winter
weather advisory headlines continue to increase.
I'm in that in-between land near the middle of the Mitten just west of the finger of no/little snow fall. IF that were to verify could be 2-3" combined to at least return wintry flavor around here, even if it's not "deep winter" conditions. My work office up in Crawford Cnty will do much better plus get into some follow-on LES. Hopefully they get enough to support snowmobiling tourism of which there was only about 1 wk last winter.
huh...I do need to get back and see snow...I mean...my mom again...

Bummer....no direct flight options....
Feels great outside. in the 50s today and drying up from yesterdays showers. Tomorrows storm could have been a juicy one had there been cold air around. Perfect track for an all out snowstorm here in S MI. Keeping an eye out for Tues nite-Wed timeframe.
