I noticed that the media back then didn’t light their hair on fire with every weather anomaly despite the impact it had on their lives. Us weather weenies give ourselves license to get a thrill out of this knowing the general population doesn’t share that passion. Back when the Onion was funny, they summed up the current media hyperbole well.

We would all be better off if they didn’t run the GFS beyond 120 hours.

Yeah at this range it’s not stressful. Especially since it’s only late November. Got a lot of season left.

I refuse to invest so much time model riding on anything more than 120hrs away now. It removed a bunch of stress from my life.
