Definite sudden stratospheric warming event coming for early March. But it's probably too late to really matter for down my way. But if it helps keep an active storm track going I'm all for it.
My ideal climate would probably be somewhere north of Chicago, near the shores of the lake. Have relatives there and visit quite frequently. They dont get the crazy snows like Buffalo but some of those lake effext bands can get gnarly. Also isnt as volatile as the NE, although they dont get monster snows like NYC, they get lots of light snowfall from clippers and the occasional pacific system that brings a good snow. Might be a bit too cold but thats really the only issue. I used to think that their summers were too hot but its not like ours are any different now. Much more humid thete though. They see tons of thunderstorms, but slightly too north for the serious tornado threats.
