LUCKY You! (and I mean that). Snowed all day at work with around 3" and a lot melted then froze as ice all over my ride. So another after work chore of thawing out while scraping and busting ice off my blades. About half that amount (calling it 1.4" after measuring) here at home in Harrison. The drift on our balcony just keeps getting deeper. Bet that's easily a foot or better now. It's like last week's spring days never even happened. Send me some of your "better wx" eh?

PDX, OLM, and YVR all seeing 0.0" also didn't happen in quite a few of those top tier duds.

Yeah, I think you and @SouthHillFrosty were the absolute bullseye under 400'. Definitely a noteworthy and impressive event in the context of March and especially in the context of this putrid winter, but from a regional context I'm not sure how much weight to put into such a localized event. And Jared keeps implying Seattle got nailed when the majority of the city had like 1" or less. So you still had a very large majority of the lowlands with little to no measurable snow this season, including the official stations up north where that sort of thing is comparatively rare.

We could've easily seen multiple major snowstorms this winter. There were like 4-5 chances. All of them flopped in the snow department. If even one of them worked out for Portland or Vancouver, people would be changing their tune very quickly.
