I mean you can buy the green lawn paint on Amazon. Mix it with water and apply with a backpack sprayer. It’s more realistic to touch up some brown patches than to paint your whole lawn. The color wasn’t a great match but it might have improved over the years.
I hit lots of nests. I think my highest sting count was 8 in one season. Ground nests are usually the worst because you usually don’t see them until you’re standing too close. And it’s hard to get them out if they are deep in the ground, like an old rotted out tree root. I’ve come across 2 nests so far this year. 1 sting. I’m semi allergic, especially white faced hornets. A couple of those will put me on the ground pretty quick.
