Those fires aren't going anywhere. This weekend's trough is going to stoke those flames nice and hot, especially Saturday. Not enough of an intrusion to advect moist air into the interior and significantly cool eastern/southern Oregon, but a close enough push to make it pretty windy. Behind the front into next week, dry air filters in from the GOA and Canada, with temps and winds steadily rebounding with time. Great news for me and my campsite, since the wind shift will keep the smoke to the south for a few days, but it'll keep the fires going as well.

LOT is killing me right now lol. I know they are still conducting surveys, but it seems like they are unusually slow with putting out the tornado tracks from the Monday storms. I briefly saw one of tracks in the DAT (southern Cook county, and that tornado actually did a loop!) but it looks like it vanished for some reason. Eagerly waiting to see the one that I may have been in.

Flow will hurt us at some point. No way around it. Hopefully it isn’t a million degrees as well

Smokefest looks sort of inevitable at this point.
