Ok. I mean, there's no doubt all of this is pretty open to interpretation. But there's also no doubt that so far, the U.S. has seen nothing close to what Mexico saw in May. Maybe the northeast will soon, at least for a period.
Scratch that, we just topped out at 86. Checked that stats, today is my new record for largest diurnal spread in the month of June (since I moved here), beating the June 26th 2022 96/40 day by 3 degrees.
But that's still a long ways from our 101/31 record we got in late summer.
