Wouldn't keep things green. Evaporation and runoff would outpace that amount of precipitation.
Even during the bummer summer of 1993 (I think; may be off by a year) the lawns were mostly brown by late July.
At exactly 1.00" so far for the month. Should pick up another 0.1-0.2" before the rain ends tomorrow probably putting me close to 2/3 of average for June. It would be nice to see some more rain later in the month, but the sunny weather--especially if it allows the high elevation snowpack to transition to a spring cycle--will also be nice for a bit.
.01” so far on the day. Windy with light drizzle and 49 degrees currently.
2.22” on the month.
Would be awesome to have another one of these right after the 4th of July, and again in early August to keep things nice and green…But with 70’s, 80’s, and some 90’s and 100’s in between!
