  1. Past hour
  2. Nice wet and active 00z GFS run. Even gives a warm and sunny Friday/Saturday next week as the next ULL winds up offshore and to the south.
  3. Today
  4. Yes, looks like it was beyond the city limits best I could tell. Tornado was on the ground ( according to the weather service) during the time my cousin got the photo. Sure does look like one in the photo
  5. I love it. Even if it simply caps solar max the next 2 years, that's pretty significant.
  6. Definitely hopping tonight and as Tom mentioned, have picked up good rainfall out of previous rounds.
  7. Wow, glad you were able to get a good even during the night! Was the in the OKC suburbs?
  8. Cool, overcast and breezy 54/48 day here. Not much rain though, just some sprinkles at times.
  9. At least there wasn’t much rain for your trip. Were you inside the Convention Center all day or did you have a chance to tour the city?
  10. Meanwhile, I have received only 2.87" in April, still well below the 3.6" average. One county west of Cedar Rapids some locations have received less than 1.5" in April.
  11. That was intense !! Never ever ever experienced that before in my life. It’s still popping off out there but slower right now as the main line has gone through! Tornado off to the east of us. Very possible my cousin caught it in her picture. It definitely looks like one. Just wow, what a storm
  12. Jealous of you all getting rain. Thursday and Today we had almost nothing (.05 on Thur) a Trace today whereas Lewiston had some decent rain with ponding on some of the roads in usual spots. We drove out to Dworshak Reservoir for a hike. This is an Army Corps reservoir which is free to park at. It is near Orofino "The Home of the Maniacs!" Their high school is right next to Idaho's state mental institution. Mascot even looks like a patient and a photo is here: https://www.spokesman.com/stories/2016/feb/04/idaho-house-panel-backs-orofino-maniacs-specialty-/ We decided to turn around about 0.75 miles in or so as the clouds starting looking dark and the trail looked slippery. Still my son and I enjoyed a nice viewpoint of the reservoir on a hillside before turning back. Glad we did because it started raining shortly after we left. Flat Stanley is visiting us from a school in Texas' project. All the other houses are in Texas, OK, or NE so it's nice it got to see the NW and both WA and ID.
  13. I’m cold! It needs to warm up a little!
  14. Another wet day! Love it! .80" this pm and still raining. Weekend total now 1.7" and incredibly now at 7 inches in April! And there hasnt been a extreme amount of run off or gully washers. Soaking in and saturated! KDMX - Super-Res Reflectivity 1, 6_50 PM.mp4
  15. I see. I'm sorry to hear about this. We're good.
  16. Looks like we might get some snow Monday morning, just need that precip to arrive a couple hours earlier than currently forecast, and we could easily pick up a slushy Inch or two. 41 currently, 46/30 day.
  17. Unsure but definitely looks like a tornado in the distance Unsure but who knows
  18. More storms approaching from my southwest. This will only add to the 2.40” from Thursday night. Very wet around here for sure.
  19. First tornado warning of the year. This looks more like a spin up on the front end of a line of storms.
  20. Bust city here again. I got about a tenth this evening, which puts my 2-wave weekend total at 0.25"... a very far cry from the 2-3+ inches the models were spitting out for days.
  21. I’d like to answer that but it dives into something real personal re: health. Just ignore it and go on. I don’t mean any harm or foul. I may be lowering my profile on the forum as time goes by.
  22. Mets are trying to prepare people for a Saturday night at home if they’ll listen. Large hail, high wind and a possible tornado. (I hate nighttime tornados). Currently 77*. Humidity at 79%. Wind officially 17mph but I’ve been out there. It’s a good deal higher and gustier. A line of strong storms are currently from Snyder, Texas to Lawton, Okla moving SSE. The cap has remained in place this afternoon but we’re expecting that to change overnight. With strong evening storms. Hoping for no night tornados.
