PNW May 2023 Discussion - May Blessings Continue

Believe it or not it's May already and Southern California is back to record breaking cold in an era of global warming, while PNW could get a few warm days, but not as hot as last week's heatwave. 

Looks to get rainy by the second half of the week though, making many people very happy. Can the watery blessings continue throughout the month?

This is the next 3 days for thunderstorms. Looks like Eastern Oregon could see some severe thunderstorms today  it posted the maps out of sequence

Can anyone confirm that there are thunderstorms in the Olympia area? There are no radar echoes for precipitation but the lightning tracker says there is lightning in the area
