We have this super awkward area underneath our front steps and don’t know what to do with it. There’s a bunch of rocks mixed with dirt and old mulch now and I don’t really feel like pulling the rocks out, digging out the dirt and bark and laying down barrier/spraying etc. Would rather just dump a butt load of more rocks on top and bury it like I do with all my other problems
Trigger warning for @SilverFallsAndrew theres a rainbow mat in front of our steps
If you are a chemical guy (like I used to be back in the golf course working days) all you need to do is put down a layer of Casoron in the spring, and again in August and you will be golden. Just make sure there are no runoff worries right after application to areas you want to keep alive because it will kill everything in its path.
I put thousands upon thousands of pounds down back in the day and I would now probably vomit at the smell of it when first applied, much like roundup.
