There might not be any other years your location has seen unbroken snowcover that long, that late in the season. At least since 1900.

That’s what’s nice about being out here. Almost guaranteed to have several chances of snow and no long gloomy period. The cold isn’t for everyone, but sun is more inportant to ne. I hated January’s in Eugene, nearly impossible to get sun with the inversions at the end of the valley.
