Yep they are X-band. The NWS offices are getting the data. Currently no way for the general public to access but maybe they will end up on a premium RadarScope tier in the future. Glad to hear they are actively planning to expand to the PNW, the ones they have installed right now are mostly for severe weather detection in nexrad gaps.

@Clinton, remember that huge trough that spun offshore the PAC NW in late OCT? Do you remember the dates? I'm thinking this Bomb Cyclone could be a harmonic pattern in the LRC. 28-30 day mini cycle?
