Just sayin... These "stable regimes" that get four tweet long threads about how they'll stay for a month usually end up having one or five wrenches thrown in there that screw up the details in a major way. Remember winter 2021-22 when models latched onto a stable -PNA blocking high around New Years that was forecast to persist 2005/2011 style, then completely fell through within five days? We're not even into December yet. We'll get a week or two for our shot at snow and cold. Which is all we usually get anyways!

Currently 37.0°F with mostly clear skies. Colder than it was at this time yesterday. Perhaps another freeze?
