I think you’re right. There have been times the GFS has picked up on things before other models. The models need to get a clue with the SSW and the MJO phase 7 though. Expect more crappy runs until then

I was looking at both Euro models and to me they look weird. Like why would they do those types of pattern changes. It's just me but I would throw them out. It just doesn't make sense to me.
