Every single member of the EURO and GFS has snow for Seattle now. Pretty good signal.

That was a really solid event. Just a year ago it was in the mid 20s with near blizzard conditions and blowing dry snow, but the second wave had the wet type of snow that flocked to all the trees. IMG_0634.mov

Really is wild how many historic snowstorms there have been in mid-late February recently. Off the top of my head I can think of: -2/23/11: Over 2 feet of snow fell in a CZ around Mt. Vernon in 1 night. -2/23/14: More than a foot of snow fell in Bellingham in one day. -2/24/19: Eugene got nearly 20" of snow from an anafront snowstorm. -2/12-13/21: Seattle's snowiest calendar day since 1969 (8.9") and at the time PDX's largest 2-day storm since 1968 (9.4") -2/22/23: PDX's snowiest calendar day since 1943 (10.8")

Up to +5 by the 23rd!

We can definitely still get great stuff in late February. IIRC we had 32/22 and a 30/25 days on 2/25/11 and 2/26/11. 7” of snow with that one as well. It’s not too late to get something decent.
