The big ocean sure has its benefits. This is about a once a decade storm for them. About every 4-5 years they get a storm over a foot on I-95. Like anywhere. Sometimes they get a couple in a year or two then none for 6 or 7. It’s very feast and famine over there. Obviously the ocean does help pull in more 8-12 type storms. Which most years then do get one. I’ve actually out paced my folks in Northern NJ both in seasonal snow and large storms since 2021. It’s rare the entire I-95 gets hit at once. Boston and DC especially have very different climates. NY-Philly gets screwed a lot in coastal storms.
Conditions are going to be absolutely diabolical along the New England coast Sunday night into Monday. Wish I had time to chase this one but alas, responsibilities beckon.
If only this could be a map for 1-70 in KC. I would never complain again. Lol
My cousin in Connecticut just texted me saying they already ate up their storm food and have to make another run to the store lol
