It's still early, but I doubt it. Super El Nino coming. It's going to get warm and humid quickly come April into May. The heat building is going to smash records this year. It already is by over a month.
I still haven’t tried the game!
A serious sport apparently!! Courts are always full down here. I think what I love about this environment is everyone’s out being active doing something. It’s almost a cruise ship mentality in the community where I live. Positive vibes!!! Doing a renaissance festival tomorrow and then Luke Air Force Base the following day for an air show!
This doesn’t suck
The Feb 2019 snowstorm largely sat at or above freezing after midnight. Dropped over a foot for many people in the Seattle area with snow continuing all day for the hilltops even in the upper 30s. It did unfortunately transition to rain/mix for me for a bit, hindering totals. Just a touch colder and it could've been 2 feet.
I love what I'm seeing in the Long Range towards the end of the month and opening of April. The long standing pattern that set up in the Fall where there was a very strong Easterly Flow off the Atlantic Ocean is showing up. This is a very very dominant part of the LRC and what I certainly believe will be the establishment of a strong Bermuda High Pressure system. In essence, the model among others, are showing a glimpse of the Monsoon pattern. In the past couple of days, all the models are increasing PAC and Gulf of America moisture coming up from the south.
When you guys out in the Midwest freeze again later next week, it'll help break the pattern up around here in the SW & 4 corners region.
Something to this effect will be a common theme in the summer months ahead...
