Another dumb spring windy day

I picked up 1.25” rain. The wild weather occurred SE of me. That’s fine. Thursday/Friday look good for more.

Enjoy it. Like I said it must be nice to live somewhere that actually gets precipitation. Nebraska is a f***** worthless desert at this point. No snow. No rain. Just heat and wind.

Yeah it's definitely been quite wet around here lately. Little early to get too far into the winter outlooks, but even though it is kind of counterintuitive, I would probably bet on the upcoming winter being wetter than the past 2 around here (whether or not it actually ends up wetter than average). Nino typically tends to be drier than Nina around here, but that tendency kind of fades away in strong/super Nino cases. The roided up STJ tends to spread the moisture around to an extent. DJF precip in the last 3 Ninos that had a 2.0+ ONI peak:

Next 2 weeks are bone dry here. Horrific. The pain never ends. Must be nice to be in Iowa and Illinois. Guess ill enjoy more pain and misery in this state that God clearly hates.
