No, I am being serious. What has gotten into you? I have never taunted you. I have never been mean to you. You have always been polite so I respond in kind, even if I do not agree with some of your points. I genuinely found it funny you responded to my benign post thrice. So I am now befuddled. Because I pointed out that even though a lot of people might say they are sick of partisan politics, they still partake and fall for the common traps to get them to further the cycle, you you say: - I love to taunt and that's all I do here - People like me make you want to leave - I piss in the punch bowl and come back for seconds I'm sorry, but that's total bullsh*t. I do not know your friends. I was not insinuating that your friends do that. I was pointing out the bigger picture. Does the fact that I speak my mind bother you? I don't mince words, and I do not take crap from rude, ignorant people. I have never found you to fall into that category, so what gives, Andie?

Getting a nice steady generous rain here after some thunderstorms rolled through earlier this afternoon… finally passed the 1 inch mark for storm total rainfall earlier. Looks like the heavy swath of convection to the south (in KS/ MO) might eat away at our heavy rain/ thunderstorm potential for tonight… however I am really enjoying this soaking rainfall right now without the destruction from yesterday’s storms.

Rainfall today through 4pm. Only .01” so far at PDX. Hopefully we can get some good showers this evening. -
Holy crap, I didn’t realize his post got that many reacts. Some must have been done later after I first saw it.

Looks like there’s a Tornado Watch for your area. Some huge explosive cells on radar. Good luck and stay safe! -
Ridge bridge? Oh, wrong time of year to root for it.

.62" this morning, with a total of 1.62" since Wednesday. I ended up cancelling my yard project, and I am glad I did since we got .76" that day. Hopefully end if this next week will be good for another attempt. -
We do this dance multiple times a year. Prognostications filled with an alphabet soup of oscillations and indexes serve to build up a level of mystique with your average "Just give me the 10 day" guy but make you look like a ChatGPT hacculiation of a Holiday Inn Express educated Meatyorologist to anyone with an ERA5 dataset partially downloaded.

Of course I know what NAO stands for, it's actually one of the few I do know. It stands for North American Outflow -
A bit disappointed he didn't update his "Seansplaining Seattle Weather" podcast last winter.

In 2010 the Pacific was freezing all summer and coastal areas were setting record low highs almost every day. The rest of the country baked. -
That’s pretty cool!!!

Call me crazy, but I have confidence in this Manhattan jury. In general, jurors take things seriously and want to do the right thing based on what is presented in court. I would grant that there's a higher than usual chance of shenanigans on the jury because the defendant is controversial and arguably the most famous person in the world, but hopefully the jurors just focus on what's important. Trump's behavior in court could matter, and so far it seems like he's been behaving well in court (I'm assuming his lawyers have drilled this point home repeatedly). If somebody on the jury is on the fence about guilt or innocence, acting like an a-hole could sway them. Respect the process even if you feel like it's totally ridiculous.

On a personal note.... being in the pool is the first time I can walk and feel normal since February. Unfortunately I still need crutches when I get out. But I am able to put weight on bad leg now and use crutches more for balance. My physical therapist said last week he wanted me to go the public pool in NB or Issaquah for walking exercises and I said I can do even better than that being Charleston.
