    It's dumping! Up to 7 inches now. Roads are treacherous though. Lots of stuck vehicles and spin outs.

    9 inches now and counting. Could get up to a foot by morning. Had to pick up some family friends in town and the roads were a mess. At least I know I can drive in most conditions now.

    There is no need to anyways. Seems like you are doing pretty well so far. Our Arctic outbreak collapsed as you speculated it would. Felt like a near perfect setup for a big snow at my location yesterday, just a shade to warm. Hopefully there is a shake up later this month that opens the door for us. I was originally thinking around New Years, but I know you favor something probably a little later.

    Some of the Euro members and CFSv2 members show a ton of snowfall in the Plains. This pattern suggests a bowling ball type of pattern with a Hudson Bay HP over the top.

    Last couple days both the GFS/Euro have had individual runs showing a neutral AO/NAO developing around the 3rd with a neutral EPO/-WPO. That actually would not be all that bad to be honest. We shouldn't see the punishing cold and have systems continue rolling in from the west off the Pacific. Meanwhile, 00z Euro Ensembles really blossoming a snowy signal to close out the month in the Plains...

    Wind whipping good here. Dry. Temperature up to 42 from 37 in the last 4 hours. DP down to 27 though. I hope we get at least SOME accumulating snow before Christmas.

    I'm a High Schooler that bags groceries, and the last few days I've heard so many people freaking out about the possibility of snow and acting like it's gonna be a huge snowstorm, I can't help but to laugh at how the general public freaks out so much over this.
