Moderate snow here in Racine, big flakes.

I think this model is going to do pretty well.

The radar doesn't look like anyone will see 4"+ out of this in Wisco right now...unless it starts filling in, this could somewhat be a bust.

Yeah 4" might be pushing it in southern WI at least. Widespread 1-3" in the local region.

Getting windier with SN here in Racine still. Things whitened up quick once it hit 32°.

Holding onto pretty good returns back at home though.

Wow, still above 40° in Green Bay!

Yup, still 43F and the cold air isn't wrapping around quickly enough.  Maybe the WSW were not a good idea.

I think you may end up with more snow than Green Bay the way its looking right now.  This system just threw in way too many variables for forecasters to try and figure out.

If this band just continues east instead of north then somebody in the greater Milwaukee area might see 4".

Highest reports I've seen have been coming in just west of here. A lot of 1-2" reports in SW Wisconsin. 30 degrees and still SN here in Racine. Everything is really icy and caked with snow.

How much have you gotten so far?

I don't know how much fell at home. Looking at the cameras locally, the ground is completely white, so that usually takes 2" to do. Similar amounts in Racine. I know 3" in Lake Geneva like an hour ago.

Camera in Lake Villa, which is fairly close to where I live.

The airport around here had 2.3" at noon and there were a couple more spurts of snow since then, so that total would seem about accurate. Honestly was not expecting that much, but I am pleasantly surprised!
