For coming out of a strong Nino this is almost miraculous. There have been a lot of cold troughs offset by a few solidly warm periods. At least for this area below normal days have far outnumbered warm ones.
Yeah, it’s all about if the wind is pulling off of the chilly Puget sound surface. If there’s a SW wind here on a warm day there’s no cooling effect but there is for your location.
