So you can prove Tonga hasn't contributed to the high global humidity? Be my guest. BTW there is no way you can prove it would this high if the eruption hadn't happened.

I guess you can throw your hands up in the air and say nobody knows, or you could research the topic and make an informed decision. Perhaps by asking questions on this forum, since there are several folks here who have at least some expertise in climate science...
Who knows for sure. A lot moisture didn't make into the stratosphere from that. The man caused climate change people are way too sure of themselves for my liking.
Warmer temperatures from more CO₂ mean more evaporation mean more water vapor in the air. This sort of feedback mechanism has been known about for years, and uncertainty about exactly how it will play out has been a huge part of why different models predict different amounts of warming. But mankind is definitely involved.
