Yea Mount Si gets quite a bit of snow. Easily 200+ inches a season. That western face though loses it quick. This is the top at the end of April.

Very true. For its elevation Snoqualmie Pass gets crushed due to cold air seepage from the east. Mount Si is snowier than it looks though.

It’s the exposed front range of the Cascades. It’s exposed by the sun all day and the snow sublimates off the rocks. Was just up in the mountains. There was a solid 2-3 feet of snow on the ground in the interior above 4,000 feet just a few miles east of the front range. As brainbridge noted. There is usually snow on the top of the ridge under the trees during winter well into spring. You just can’t see it.
