Basically just hoping we have a normalish mountain snowpack next winter. December 2015 was pretty gross in the lowlands but at least the snow levels in the Cascades had the decency to stay fairly sane instead of being glued at 7000’ ad infinitum.
Gonna be skiing on Cascade concrete but ya know, halitosis is better than no breath.
2015 had a wet close to August. A 2015-16 type cold season is probably the best case scenario for this coming winter.
I agree, May has essentially become a summer month. 2018 is really the standard of dry May here. I think we only had half an inch of rain. Normal is around 4.5”.
I’ve already written Springfield off completely. The only thing that can save them at this point would be several new chain restaurant options and a few wider freeways. Tall order prior to the 590dm’s setting in by late next month.
