Returning home to some heat. It's currently 92 with a heat index of 103. A chance of storms tomorrow hopefully they won't interfere with any fireworks in the evening.

Beautiful and 82° out there. Hopefully some good stars tonight along with the later lunar phase. It’s cool to see Venus and Jupiter right after sunset. Esp knowing than Venus is close while Jupiter is fidna or has gone behind the sun from our perspective. We’re just now gon start seeing the Dog Star rise before the sun soon. The dog days AKA the smoke days then arrive.

I remember a 110 but might have been the GFS that he was posting for dramatic effect.

It wasn’t that close at Victoria in the end either. But I think 2026 was running warmer with about a week or so left in the month. 2026: 62.1F 2015/ 2021: 63.7F I only looked back to 2014 and this June was 3rd warmest.
