More from the website @SnarkyGoblin hates

The label “Christian nationalism” is the new Progressive dog-whistle for “scary American patriots.” It signals to Progressives that Americans who love God and country – which used to be the norm before our descent into a post-Christian, post-patriotism culture – are a subversive danger to democracy. Christianity, after all, imposes a moral code that chafes Progressive libertines, and nationalism, with its emphasis on state sovereignty and secure borders, frustrates their globalist ambitions.

And Andrew loves every word of it.  "Bring on the gulags" is what he probably thinks.  If you think they ain't human, you can pretty much justify doing anything you want to them.

VANDALIA, Ohio — Former president Donald Trump ratcheted up his dehumanizing rhetoric against immigrants Saturday by saying that some who are accused of crimes are “not people.”

“I don’t know if you call them people,” he said at a rally near Dayton, Ohio. “In some cases they’re not people, in my opinion. But I’m not allowed to say that because the radical left says that’s a terrible thing to say.”

Violent criminals have been called savages and animals before by people other than Donald Trump. Similar humans who are white are often called white trash and that's fine with me.

Yep, the guy who killed beautiful Laken is a sub-human. I wouldn't even call him an animal because I love animals and they have value. He is a demon.

Why are you obsessed with defending someone who raped and murdered a beautiful AMERICAN?

Leftist 10 commandments (my own version)

1. Thou shalt not esteem anyone above the government authorities.

2. Thou shalt not make a graven image of any confederate soldiers, former slaveholders or white Christian males or say anything positive about them.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of any of the great government authorities in vain (e.g. let's go Brandon)

4. Remember Pride Month to keep it holy

5. Honor your DEI instructor and gender theorist and always agree with and do whatever he/she/they/xe/xir says.

6. Thou shalt abort all unborn babies who negatively affect a birthing person's body in any way (this will also help with the climate emergency).

7. Thou shalt celebrate adultery, same-sex marriage, pornography and polygamy.

8. Thou shalt approve of massive redistribution of wealth by the government in the name of equity and anti-racism

9. Thou shalt not dissent with the government's misinformation board.

10. Thou shalt covet a society where everyone ends up in the same place

From electoral-vote.com - place I've been following since 2008 election.  They sometimes do q&A's.

Quote

P.D.C. in New Salem, MA, asks: Traditional conservatives—those who believe in pro-business policies, limited regulations, a small government and a strict view of laws and the constitution—don't have any place in the MAGA-dominated Republican Party. So what should they do? I see four paths.

Stay with the party and hope MAGAism burns itself out before democracy ends.

Stay with the party but quietly, through votes and donations, support Democrats in the hope that it the Republican party loses enough MAGA Republicans will eventually lose interest and go away.

Join the Democrats and try to recreate a conservative wing within the Democratic party. They might have some success in red states where Democrats aren't very numerous to begin with and usually don't win anyway.

Start an new party or hijack an existing third party such as the Libertarians. They would need financing by some big donor conservatives. This would probably mean that neither they nor the MAGA Republicans would do very well for awhile but if they can outlast the MAGA Republicans they could become the alternative to the Democrats.
Which of these approaches do you think they should take or do you have another alternative.

(V) & (Z) answer: We would say the answer is some combination of #2 and #3. Support the sanest Republican in the primaries, to make clear your vote is available to a candidate like that. Then, in the general, support the Democrat, so as to make clear that if the Republicans nominate bad candidates, they will pay a price.

Voting third-party/independent in the general election is exactly the same as staying home. It doesn't affect the final result, and we can promise you that neither party takes note if the Libertarians got 2.2% as opposed to 1.9%, or the Greens got 2.4% as opposed to 1.6%. Remember, the choice of nominee is made by... the voting public. And when was the last time ANY member of the voting public (much less a majority) said: "Well, I better support [Candidate X] because I really want to make sure we win back the 1.5% of voters who voted [Green/Libertarian/independent] in the last election."? The answer is "never" because it just does not work that way.

Need to define a MAGA Republican. To many Democrats that would be a person who is patriotic, venerates our founding fathers and wishes to preserve our Judeo-Christian heritage, is pro-life, against trans surgery for minors and doesn't want biological males in women's restrooms or sports. Pretty much what the majority of the country was 25 years ago.

In any case, you once again used a lazy tactic and completely misrepresented both what trump.said and I said.

Trump nor.i was talking about the killer.  He was talking about, in this case, anyone who came over the border who he falsely claims are all.coming from jails.

Quote

He asserted, without evidence, that other countries were emptying their prisons of “young people” and sending them across the border. “I don’t know if you call them ‘people,’ in some cases,” he said. “They’re not people, in my opinion.” He later referred to them as “animals.”

Border officials, including some who worked in the Trump administration, have said that most migrants who cross the border are members of vulnerable families fleeing violence and poverty, and available data does not support the idea that migrants are spurring increases in crime.

How about when he went down the escalator in 2016 to announce he was running?  Or that video I just linked?  The truth is that what happened to Laken was an exception not the rule.  That's what the statistics tells us.

Whether he said "all" does not matter.  He's making hugely broad statements with NO EVIDENCE to back it up.  And people like Andrew literally parrot the same $hit.

It's awful, dangerous, and unforgivable.

Two large reasons:

1. Communism (or anything approaching it) is a recipe for nationwide poverty.

2. Crippling U.S. sanctions dating back to 1962 have decimated their economy.  At this point it is out of spite, tradition, and at the demand of the Cubans living in Florida.

Agree with 1.
2. The US govt thought they could cripple Cuba into surrendering but outside and internal interests had other plans.
Many Cubans in Fla. continue to battle the tyranny back home.  I believe Cubans love their country but despise its government. It could be a wealthy island nation with great ports, tourism, business.  But they are harnessed to a rogue government that uses its people as slaves or chattel.
What a waste of human potential.

Finally some common sense and management of who can enter the country. We can hopefully know who is here and why.
In a turnabout from just 24 hours earlier, the Supreme Court has agreed to let a Texas immigration law take effect, so that state law enforcement officers soon can arrest, detain and deport those suspected of entering Texas from Mexico illegally.

It worked well in the 1960s, the intention was to prevent the communism mindset from reaching the USA

It won’t last but it’s a toe hold.  Enforceable when needed.  But honestly, they just need to go back to where we were in the law and enforce it.
Unfortunately, there’s a percentage here that will break the law like no tomorrow as the gangs made it in as well.  It hasn’t even begun.

Even though he has already locked up the nomination and she has dropped out, Haley is still polling in the 15-20% range within the recent primaries.

OH: Haley 15%

IL: 14%

KS: 16%

AZ: 19%

FL: 14%

It seems like there is roughly that percentage of the Republican Party that are 'never Trumpers' and I would bet might not run home to the party to vote for him in November. If that's the case, that'll be an issue considering he captured 94% of the party in 2020 and still lost.

I wonder what if Haley decides to run as Third-Party

I'm not sure it would make a substantial difference, but I'd be curious to find out what percentage of same-day vote that Haley got yesterday as it would weed out those who early voted for her before she dropped out.

I feel like it's a little tough to extrapolate trends from 2020 to this year for various reasons, one of them being the 3rd party candidates.  3rd parties aren't likely to receive very high percentages of the vote, but they could very well do the best that they've done since the 1990s.  If the 3rd parties do well enough, there's a scenario where Trump could win the election with only like 45% of the vote.

Oh please.  You cannot kill ideas (even idiotic ones) with sanctions and threats of warfare.  The people are the ones who suffer.  Suffering people usually gravitate toward radical ideas.  A vicious cycle.
