Most of our rain came around 3am and I slept through it; my dad said it was fairly heavy. 

About a third of an inch so far, according to this site:

No significant rain since noon, but still very chilly and windy. 
 

Storm tracks tend to miss the MB area for some reason. We lie right in between two frequent tracks, the one through VC and northern LAC and the one through Long Beach and the OC. The region in between almost never gets a direct hit.

Not this time, we're sitting at an impressive 1.88" since midnight here. Really came down this morning, still quite windy but the rain has let up a bit. Doesn't look like it's finished with us yet either.

After some more heavy showers, Orcutt has now seen 2.29” since yesterday! Decent overperformer!

I hope this doesn't end up being the only good storm of the season, like the storm we had in late December last year.

1.91" here. Wetter than any storm we got last season.

My parents in Oakland ended with 7 1/4 total, receiving 2 1/4 inches since 1pm yesterday. Socal needs the rain so bad. I'm really happy for you!

34F here this morning. Light dusting of snow on the mountains down to 5000 ft or so, much heavier above 6500.

Also adjusting my storm total per my manual rain gauge this morning, which shows 2.07" compared to my Davis's 1.92". Strong winds during rain tend to produce inaccuracies for most tipping bucket rain gauges so this is no surprise.

That makes yesterday the first time I've recorded 2 inches of rain or more in one day since February 14th, 2019.

Wow, It’s already down to 39F. 2F lower than the forecasted low of 41F for tonight/thur morning in Santa Maria.

Coldest night since early March if I had to hazard a guess. Even my seaside climes are expected to hit 41.

Good grief, Winnetka already down to 39!!! Forecast low is 34.
