There is no Jewish race.  None.  It is a religion.  People of similar (and also very different) tribal backgrounds practice Judaism.  Same thing with every other religion in the world.

Classified as a Hate Crime, so much so that even Rabbis attended his Funeral. Which confirms that Jews are generally not against the Palestinians, but the ones who want violence.

I will never stop defending my people. If the mods want to turn this thread into a pro Hamas echo chamber that’s their choice. We can have you’d faith discussions, Rubus somehow manages though I disagree with him.

It hasn't even been three full days since this thread started and personal insults are already flying, reports are already coming in. Similar to the abortion issue, this is a passionate topic that can get very ugly very quickly.

If it continues down this road, I will close this thread and more forcefully stop this topic from being discussed in the politics thread. Enough is enough.

Simplicity is seductive. People want to distill any conflict into a simplistic “good guy” versus “bad guy” narrative.

Pair that with how the world is complex, and you have a recipe for opposing sides, each certain they are in the right, each backed up in their certainty by a subset of irrefutable facts.

I've heard a couple times it was 'up to' 80% support Hamas, but can't remember where I saw it. Either way, I support regular innocent Palestinian civilians who don't support terrorists and I also support Israel even though many are diehard liberals. I occasionally donate to missions stationed in the Middle East helping civilians and poor people in Palestine, Syria, etc. Actually, there are outreaches worldwide including the USA.

Personally, I am sick to death of being the world's arms dealer.  And we wonder why 9/11 happened.

Both sides need to stop getting their nickers in a twist.  It’s the worst kind of feud and May end up killing innocent decent people.  (The perpetrators rarely pay the price).

They make perfect sense if you are a religious Christian, Jew, or Muslim and claim the area as your "holy land".  Since I am not, I find it all absurd, but if I put myself into that frame of mind, it all connects together.

Israel ain't doing jack squat.  They are already slowly becoming a pariah state in the last couple of decades based on their actions.  The way the average American feels about Israel is not how a lot of the rest of the world feels.  The internet and social media is only accelerating that.
