Interesting how the models have basically made the Friday/Saturday system almost a non-event now... for a long time it looked like it would be repeat of the system yesterday into today. Now it looks like stays up in BC. Sunday still looks like it could be wet from Seattle northward though.
I've been on the northern edge for almost all severe weather outbreaks. I've had severe thunderstorm watches for close places to my west, south, and east but I believe Sioux Falls has only been under one so far this season. For the most part we have just been getting rain with the occasional lightning and thunder. It's been a clear case of 'so close but no cigar'.
That being said, it has certainly been stormy for many. This is just the past two days...
