I've driven all over CA. Yes, plenty of beautiful mountains, but overall I find the Cascade volcanoes and the Rockies more consistently majestic. Whether you're driving through them or viewing from a distance. Part of it is definitely the better snowcover than they have compared to most CA peaks.

A nice couple of days to close out the work week with near normal temps in the low 80's with lows tonight in the comfortable 50's for most spots. Rain chances increase Saturday night into Sunday and then after a cool start to next week a slow moderating trend.
