Yeah we had about 10” with that storm and a couple really cold nights. Then that Sunday a system came in from the northwest and we received another 12” of snow.
That February 22-23 storm was really amazing. East Portland metro was down to freezing with heavy snow while just across the hills it was lightly drizzling all day. Then around 5pm it started lightly snowing (after PDX had received 10") with the temp steadily dropping. It slowly got colder with a bit more snow until everything had frozen with 2" of snow on the ground and a blowing east wind. Then around 1 am the really heavy stuff came through with temps in the mid 20s and then we had around 6-8" of snow on the ground by the morning. The next day was really nice too with blowing ground snow and sun throughout the day.
The EPS shows about 0.5" for SEA over the next two weeks. Pretty good starting point, and pretty believable. Heat looks non existent for a good long while.
