I'm not telling you anything about any specific pattern. Again, there are more ways than one to get to a result, but that doesn't invalidate the overall correlation.
If I put together a composite of the wettest Octobers/Novembers in the PNW, I guarantee they will not be ridgy over the PNW.
Obviously racism sucks, and the only way to solve it is ignoring race, it's so simple. Celebrating black history month, Asian month, Latino month, etc, in schools isn't solving racism, it's strengthening it. Why can't we just have history, without splitting it up in months which is blatantly racist?
We shouldnt be teaching African American kids that they are oppressed and European Americans that they are evil colonizers. We should teach history, but shouldn't acknowledge race today, at this point everybody has equal opportunity, and we should just treat each other like humans. Obviously there will always be racist people in any ethnicity (fun fact, Europeans aren't the only racists), and we can't stop that. The best we can do is ignore race.
Current BLM, reparations, etc, culture isn't solving the problem, it's just making it go the other way.
Yes, these things *can* happen, but it is true to say that in general (and remember, that's how long term averages are derived) more troughing over or near the PNW during the fall/winter means more precip.
Even an AR like you describe almost always has deep troughing just to the north or very close.
Her argument makes sense if you are willing to take a step back and consider it.
Whether you agree with her or not, she truly believes Trump intended to fully overturn the results of the 2020 election and remain in power. I don't doubt that she believes that, and to be honest, it's not a huge jump in assumptions from what we already know to be true. Trump did pull some shady shit after that election and said a bunch of inflammatory, crazy stuff.
So put yourself in her shoes. If you truly believed that someone intentionally attempted to disregard the will of the American people, refused the peaceful transfer of power, and attempted to remain in office, would you still vote for that person even if you agreed with 90% of what they stood for?
