Just saw light in the sky from a transformer blowing up.

Never thought I would lose power here from east winds. This is the strongest I can remember them ever being for this location. Peak gust was only 38 here but I guess that was enough to take the power out since the trees here are not used to that kind of wind at all coming out from the east. What a night it has been though. So many trees down everywhere because most of our windstorms are from the south and not the east. At least not away from the gaps from the east.

Hey, I just got on here. It looks like the models did a good job with the wind storm for the foothills and some locations in western Washington/Puget Sound. Did Mountain Wave activity develop? It seems so. Just a bit ago there were 600,000+ customers without power in Washington! That's insane.

Someone has to do the daily Fuzz. You were a high priority.
