Woke up to 0.6 of snow. Light but still pretty. 32.5F at the moment and still falling but we'll see how long it lasts. Our son is still sleeping because he made it to midnight. There was no snow at midnight so this is a January snow.

Notice how the overall snow field is smaller on this run? especially compared to yesterdays runs. seems like dry air is killing it to the north but the warm air to the south is also further north. I wouldnt be surprised to see models trend back the other way now. That dry cold air to the north, I believe, will not let it go much further north. There are always wiggles back and forth and this is several runs now with it a little further north. Curious to see what happens from here.
