The 6z Euro AI would prove you right if you extrapolate it out a bit

12z NAM. Came substantially north with the heavy snow and snow field as a whole compared to 06z.

I'm seeing some nice ensemble support for the 18th - 20th storm potential in nearly every global model and as @Hoosiermentioned the Euro Op went gun-hoe in its 0z run last night. I'm actually looking for the models to start showing a large scale system as such, hopefully it can develop earlier. It sucks we are loosing the -NAO/-AO at this time frame. Let's hope it can develop into a wound up storm like the Euro AI model has been showing on some runs over the GL's region.

I do, to a point when they start making the howling sound and that wakes me up...LOL, that's what happened last night. It's still pretty dang gust out there. Finally, a pattern change that I've been waiting for...some light mountain snows and some valley rain...well, hopefully we get some!
