In Grayling the day started at 14F and large parking lot puddles were solidly frozen. Despite bright sunshine all day they were still frozen as I headed home. I think it hit 33F and that's about it. 23F here in Harrison attm. Getting the soil temps down where they can support snow when it does arrive. Oh, and patches of snowcover still there around Higgins too. Tick-tick-tick..

Sounds like it shifted north. My conclusion, if the models are correct, the central Puget Sound region, including Seattle, will get little or any snow. But we will get extraordinary cold--particularly on Tuesday morning.
