I like how weak the PV is gonna be in the next couple of weeks.

Yea, EPS comes out at noon. I found the GFS page though and its cool that it shows multiple models. It too showed a full SSW and prolonged negative period before totally reversing last two days.

Some comparisons maps of the 12z EPS snowfall probabilities today versus the ones I posted yesterday. In short: Probabilities have increased almost across the board for the northern portion of the sub.

That looks more like a map from later in winter, with the strong 1050 mb high just north of the border.
