Even if it does snow, this isn't the ideal setup for sticking snow. Might just be a wet snow globe for a few hours, best case. If Friday night materializes, that's a different story.

Maybe. What is shocking about this is that the whole Canadian suite and the ICON shows snow. Not to mention all the meso models.

Maybe the Euro is just too dumb to pick it up. I don't know how well it handles evaporative cooling scenarios. From what it looks like, it completely ignores any possibility of that. Could be because it's missing the offshore flow component.

This is pretty stupid. One should hope that all the other models win this one, not just for the snow but how freaking dumb it would be for the EURO to oust literally EVERY other model. Also slightly surprised NWS has no mention of anything. I know they have a rain/snow mix in the zone forecast but they completely ignored talking about it in the last 3 or 4 forecast discussions.

good chunk of 542 was in the dark for about 2 hours, us included. Power just came on about 5 minutes ago. I was afraid it was going to be an all nighter. They originally said we should have power back at midnight, but then I checked again, and they took away the estimated time and said "unknown" Lights came back on about 30 seconds after that. I keep our internet source on a UPS, and we've been having a lot of issues with Xfinity cable lately, so I got a gateway with failover switching and a T-Mobile cellular modem since my wife and I both work from home. It's only $25 a month for their "back up" plan....not the best speed but it keeps you connected. Anyway, tonight was the first real test because Xfinity STB about 30 minutes after the outage started, and I had no idea we had switched to T-mobile until I went to the gateway admin page and saw the warning message. I need to get it set up to send me e-mail notifications...
