      Yeah the 1920s and 1930s had quite a bit of summer warming here. We seem to be in a similar pattern to that era at least in that regard with the crazy rate that season has been changing. Though I'd point out that the uniformity of the 2013-present summer warmth is quite unprecedented, as there were still a number of summer months in the 1920s and 1930s like June 1919, July 1921, August 1925, July 1932, and August 1938 that were solidly colder than the long term average of the time. Nothing like the decade plus run of warmth we've seen in literally every month. I'd also point out that the summers in the mid 1940s through mid 1970s were a pretty dramatic rubber band snap back in the other direction. In the last century it's been a very cyclical season.
