Expedition to Sample the Chicxulub Crater

Quick video report. This will reveal some interesting facts regarding the affects of the 14 km asteroid that hit us. Affect information will include atmospheric discharge. This thing plowed through our atmosphere in 1 second. The energy discharged must have been something. It moved the planet something like 30 miles.
And the kicker is...it might happen again sometime.

Drilling into the crater will be really cool! My guess they'll find a lot of shocked quartz and iridium.
Always a possibility that it could happen again.
