  1. Past hour
  2. 44 currently, low of 35. Have gotten an impressive .01" today, I'm starting to get worried about major floods in Central oregon.
  3. It would suck to live in Gaza, but the land was originally occupied by Canaanites who sacrificed their children to idols and did other horrible things. Then the Jews got it and wiped out a majority of the Canaanites. Then the Assyrians and Babylonians took over the land many years later. The Jews won it back and even built a wall around Jerusalem (how racist, but that's what most ancient civilizations did to protect themselves.) In AD 70, the Romans took over the land and named it Palestine for the first time. Other people got it later in other wars, mostly Arabs. In the 1900s however, Israel won wars and should have got it back due to winning, but the Jew haters refused to leave and expressed their intention to do what Hitler failed to finish, so they had to occupy it to keep Israel safe. According to this video it's not technically a genocide. About 19000 civilians have died (which sucks) and 13000 Hamas militants have died (praise be to the God of Jacob) Also the illegal immigrants are slowly invading and occupying our land and the Democrats are happy about that.
  4. Mid 70s in mid willamette valley, and 87 in Seattle.... Looks like everyone from Oregon is planning a trip to Washington next weekend!
  5. Big time tornado in Nebraska. Looks like a wedge, unfortunately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZDOFX_KEL0
  6. 53F with some light rain. 0.16" on the day so far. 2.53" on the month so far and Apr has a +1.2F departure to this point. We have not had a below normal month sine March of 2023. Longest stretch of above normal months I can find on ACIS is 15 months from 2014-2016 with every month in 2015 being above normal.
  7. I have as much drought anxiety as anyone, but this story was a bit over the top even for me: https://www.statesmanjournal.com/story/news/2024/04/25/oregon-flash-drought-wildfire-season/73454692007/
  8. I like that bright green line way up there!!
  9. Below is an analysis of the average temperature by decade here in Chester County for the months March - April and May since the 1890's. The average temperature over these 132 years of records is 51.5 degrees. So far in the 2020's we are running about 0.5 degrees above the average. The 1940's were not surprisingly the warmest decade.
  10. I know @roadtonowhere08 might disagree, but this is what I mean when I say I get frustrated with France's work culture. France's air traffic control strikes ground flights across Europe | Reuters My sisters flight from Detroit got cancelled and we were planning to meet at about the same time to go in the same rental car.
  11. Today
  12. We would have a solid head start on an all-time record warm May if the 12z GFS verified. Been awhile since our last one, almost a whole year!
  13. 12Z ECMWF is much more realistic that day... but of course its still over a week away and it will probably be pouring rain in reality.
  14. Enhanced risk for today has been expanded all the way down to Oklahoma and Texas.
  15. I was just thinking about how much I miss Oklahoma right now.
  16. AKA I don't care about our laws. What makes it a Kangaroo court other than that's what your King tells you? He was literally an unindicted co-conspirator in Cohen's Federal indictment that he pleaded guilty and went to jail for. The current NY trial is about Trump falsifying business records to hide his aforementioned accused federal crimes of illegal campaign contributions. So ya, it's fair to say it isn't the same thing. But certainly related. What's your point? Immunity is immunity and you have not made distinguishes between his criminal accusations. You just scream crucifixion.
  17. Hotter in SEA than PDX, that doesn’t happen often. Looks like some clouds move in from the SW during the day on Saturday capping the heat down here.
  18. My hope going into this period was to get at least an inch at my location. I'm only at 0.73" for April as of today and it looks like I'm going to be shadowed all weekend. But the EPS has continued to look progressive through the week with a couple opportunities for another 0.25-0.5" event so I'm holding out hope. At least my 300 gallon rain tank is back to full so I won't have to use any tap water on plants for at least a month.
  19. Absolutely dumping here with this tiny cell
  20. Brownies with chocolate covered french fries ? You are a world class chef !
