2018 California/Southwest Weather Thread

I didn't feel the Channel Islands earthquake earlier today here in Orange, despite reports of it being felt in Rancho Santa Margarita and San Clemente.

I felt it but it wasn't strong in this area.

Getting rain in April is always an iffy situation but so far there haven't been significant periods of ridging this spring. Personally I like the usual transition to marine cloudiness for relatively cool days/ mild nights.

Backdoor stratus formation this morning as clouds moved west toward LA out of the San Gabriel valley.  Quick warm up this week followed by a cold ULL.

First 90° plus day of 2018.  Typically the first 90's occur in March though there are several santa ana wind-favored areas [mainly in Orange/ San Diego counties] that record low 90's during winter.
