Marine layer starting to recover especially N of Pt.C and isolated places elsewhere. Miramar reported dense fog this morning.

The deep mid month trough is mercifully not looking likely. NWS Oxnard looking like a case of “steady as she goes”:

Despite 104F yesterday, the temp sunk to 68F this morning, which shows that higher daytime temperatures do not necessarily guarantee very warm nighttime ones - monsoonal moisture/increased humidity affects that much more directly, which has not been present these past several nights (at least not much).
