MSO says we have a 25% chance of receiving 0 inches tomorrow, and a 75% chance of 6-8" or more. God, I hate probabilistic forecasting.

The Lakes sub on Amwx has some guys growing palm trees in Wisconsin. It's legitimately fascinating. I sort of want to try it here. I'll be the palm tree guy on Whitefish's west side.

That's a known phenomenon, and why I cringe whenever peeps go posting every map run at 240hrs expecting it to stick. Then call "storm cancel" after a run or two that's different. Models have improved, but they still aren't that good, lol
