Really. I wasn't following PNW weather this summer. Seems odd that pretty much everyone was thinking 100+ for PDX and they didn't even come close.

Well I don't remember specifically but I suspect the models changed maybe? There's a first time for everything.

That's a pretty massive bust for 4-5 days out in the summer season. Not the first time, I'm sure, but certainly unusual.

Shift a ridge axis 100 miles and you lose westside offshore flow. Crazy .

 

I suppose it could have been Mark Nelsen hijacking accounts and injecting his warm bias though.
