How do I thank Cliff Mass?

    By TheBigOne,

I want to give Cliff Mass a big thank you for helping me understand the weather patterns during times it was boring and why we were having the ridges we were as I was very depressed about it not understanding what was going on.    He even came up with a Seattle Excitement Index which I found fun and hope he uses for this year.

The kicker is that he doesn't allow guest posting and has no contact forms which makes me wonder how people would let him know if his blog starts having *hiccups*  or become inaccesable for strange reasons.   I simply want to thank him for his techincal discussions.

Feb 1st Southern Lakes/Ohio Valley Winter Storm

    By DominicR,

A mod winter storm passing through southern Lakes today will bring a narrow swath of 3-8 inches across SE IA/N/C IL/NW IN/MI today and tonight and some possible freezing rain/mix in N-C IL and parts of N IN.

**Please if anyone effected if you could post pics and or videos of the storm that be much appreciated! Really love to keep a great archive of these winter storms long time from now. I just got my new camera so I will be uploading videos throughout the day and future major weather events.
