I was about to call foul on that one. I remember you poking fun at the idea of a cool September a week ago.

 

I think the most likely outcome this yr is a troughy September followed by a ridgy October.

Ahhh... the inevitable late August / early September trough that always has the cold enthusiasts proclaiming summer is over. Then it comes back for most of September.

I have just read a post about El Nino in this winter and really to say that, it is very hard

Didn't get a chance to comment here (can't believe I forgot), but the late August storm was incredible at my place. Saw a huge tree fall down onto my power lines. As incredible as it was, I don't want to go through that for a long time. 72 hours without power is incredibly difficult. I've never experienced an outage that long in this region before. The combination of leaves of trees + dry, loose soil + anomalous wind storm = disaster zone.
