Now I’m remembering how long that snow stuck around even in Seattle…with all the melting and refreezing it kind of turned into a mini glacier for a few days. The roads were solid ice, and super bumpy to drive on from all the divots made by other cars! It didn’t fully melt until like New Years.
It was awesome waking up to this that Christmas morning! That and the epic February made that winter a great one!
1990 and 2008 take the cake though with heavy snow falling with over a foot (1990) and over 2 feet (2008) on the ground on Christmas morning as we did stockings and gifts!
